Whiteley was laid out north of junction 9 of the M27. It stretches over two districts, Fareham to the south and west and the City of Winchester to the north and east. Solent Business Park runs right through its middle; NATS is based at 4000 Parkway, and ITV Meridian has its regional operation at Fusion Three. Does the Fareham or Winchester side matter?
Not to the work. The Winchester district part of Whiteley is covered by Whiteley Town Council, while the rest is covered by Fareham Borough. Both halves reach the bench through the same post under the same fixed quote.
