Get a quote first, by phone or with the form, prior to sending us the entire media device (including its lead/cable and power adapter) as applicable for external devices supplied in their own enclosures. Refit photography and condition records will normally survive intact under a damaged file system; however the destruction of this type of record occurs when a repair attempt or reformat operation takes place after the fault has shown up.
A four-bay server has dropped two disks. Do we post the box?

Although a NAS can be sent as it is where its disks cannot be removed, servers or racks of disks with a controller will need to have their disks individually removed and labelled with the relevant bay number, and no rebuild should occur prior to creating our images.
What does a drive from here cost to recover?
There is no charge for diagnosis. Each hard drive has a charge of £300 + VAT. The costs for memory cards/sticks commence at £250 + VAT. Recorder charges are £400 + VAT. For multi-disk based projects there is a minimum charge of £500 + VAT. We give one fixed written quote before any work starts, and in most cases you only pay if we recover your data.
