Ringwood stands where the A31 meets the A338: a civil parish of 14,618 at the 2021 census, without a railway since 1964. The A31 carries on east through the Forest to Cadnam and the M27/M3 interchange, which is the way to Southampton. New Forest District Council keeps its Ringwood Gateway office on The Furlong, and the old brewery ground at 138 Christchurch Road was sold for housing in October 2025.

Ringwood has had no station since 1964. Does that complicate sending a drive?
