Bordon's built-up area was estimated by the Office for National Statistics at 10,827 people in mid-2024. East Hampshire District Council says the wider community is around 14,000 people today, growing to over 23,000. The town of Bordon lies within the civil parish of Whitehill. Since the station closed in 1966, the way out of Bordon has been the A325 onto the A31, and a relief road arrived with the regeneration.

Bordon has no station. Does that matter?
Not to a parcel. The railway closed in 1966 and the plans proposed in 2012 to reopen the line were never carried out, so GU35 residents post their hard disks as they would anywhere else: a tracked postal label from a counter in the town, and the drive is logged and diagnosed free of charge on the morning it reaches the bench.
